| Everyone has a house so I also bought one.
had some money in the bank from savings. amazing house,
on a small village in Spain. 4000 sq. meters of land,
2 levels of a 300 sq. meters old house, 4 directions, big porch
with a view to the river. 2 cows, 5 sheep and some chickens.
I put $30,000 plus $5,000 for cosmetics & furnishing,
the car was $1,500, the handy $200. T.V. set, video,
stereo $2,000. all bargains, really.
there were $200 left in the bank. I bought some wine,
bread, cheese, rice and vegetables. payed the electricity
company for a month.
great feeling really, finally my own house. private.
then started thinking, what now ? I mean thereīs no
money left, nor a job (my use-me-as-your-advertising-space initiative
didnīt work out so well, thanx a lot, friends).
went to the neighbors. I thought, hey, Iīm an artist,
you know, a conceptual one, even. for sure I can do
some money with it, no ? creative people like us...
know what I mean ?
actually, my neighbors, all five of them, 3 farmers, post office
clerk and a pensioner fisherman, were very nice people, simple people,
like they say. they really wanted to help but somehow
my ideas of concepting their business or designing their web pages,
even creating their own poster & multimedia campaign for low low
prices didnīt really seem practical, "at the moment", they added
with a generous smile.
so, I decided to ignore. like Teresa says, "just ignore
them" when weīre talking about mosquitos.
Itīs amazing, really. all in the mind.
since I ignore the money I have no more problems with it. somehow
Iīm sure things will work out by themselves. cosmic
order or something.
like I said - creative mind.
