| When I was younger I used to count stairs.
I mean I couldnīt climb stairs without counting them.
any stairs, anywhere.
there were 8 stairs on every floor in our building, 13 and then
3 going out from the parking, 3, 4 and 3 to the supermarket. my
grandparents house had 8, 10, 9 till their apartment. old building.
I remembered all the stairs all over my neighborhood, my school,
friends places, etc.
some call it Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. people really suffer
from this, spending a fortune on psychiatrists trying to "kick this
habit". I didnīt need any of that. I cured myself when I realized
it was disturbing me.
instead of counting them I trained myself to say "ta ta ta ta".
it was hard at the beginning but now it works perfectly. for more
than 15 years. I donīt even feel a need to count them, as long as
I go ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta
